Network Support and Test Engineer

Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Write test plans from marketing product documents. Write test suites according to engineering requirements. Develop and execute tests of software products utilizing C/C++. Consult with quality assurance engineers to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems. Interface with development engineers to document and fix bugs. Develop and execute load & performance test plans and load test suites. Develop automated load tests based on written or automated test cases. Design and execute white box plans and test cases. Design and implement quality assurance test tools. Perform data validation against Oracle database. Prepare detailed load test reports. Configure Cisco routers including 2500, 2600, 3600 and 4000. Configure and maintain Catalyst LAN switches including 1900, 2820, and 5000 and routers. Configure, monitor and maintain functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications, including servers, network drives, TCP/IP utilities and network printers. Requires bachelor of science degree or equivalent based on education and experience in computer science and/or information technology, 2 years experience, and verifiable references.Monday-Friday 9:00am- 5:00pm.
