Minimum System Requirements - SecureMode™ Rapid Restore™ Enterprise
 
SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise Solution - Server Requirements
   
  System Configurations: Use of one of the following hard disk adapter technologies:
ATA (EIDE) UDMA 33, ATA 66/100, SCSI (1, 2, 3, Fast, UW, LVD, and 160).
  Single physical hard disk or one visible hard drive configured with a hardware RAID disk configuration.
   
  Hardware: 512 MB RAM (1 GB recommended).
  50 MB of free disk space for SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise software (16 MB contiguous).
  Average 2 GB per stored image of free disk space for Site Vault (second hard disk, or disk array, assigned to Site Vault recommended).
  Intel® Pentium® III and above, Celeron™, AMD Athlon, AMD Duron.
  Single network adapter. Maximum of two network adapters supported.
  Network adapter(s) assigned static IP address(es).
   
  Software: Internet Explorer® 6.0
  If using the Server machine to access the Management Station’s Xpoint View and/or Xpoint Chat features, the Java Runtime Environment 2 (Version 1.4.0_01) is required.
   
  Operating Systems: Windows 2000® Professional, Service Pack 2 or higher (FAT32 or NTFS).
  Windows 2000® Server(NTFS).
  Windows XP® Professional (FAT32 or NTFS)
   
  Windows Networking: Configured for TCP/IP.
  Server machine must be configured to resolve SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise client machines by name (using NetBIOS, DNS, WINS, etc.).
   
 
SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise Solution - Agent (client) Requirements
 
To use SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise’s remote Uptime! Emergency Restore and create service partition features, the client must meet the following requirements:
Client must reside on the local LAN segment.
  Network card and motherboard must support Wake on LAN (WOL).
  Network card and motherboard must support Preboot Execution Environment (PXE).
  BIOS must be configured for Wake on LAN and Preboot Execution Environment.
  Client must reside on a network containing a DHCP server.
  Computer name cannot exceed 12 characters (due to DOS networking stack limitations).
   
To use SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise’s remote Startup feature, the client must meet the following requirements:
  Client must reside on the local LAN segment.
  Network card and motherboard must support Wake on LAN (WOL).
  BIOS must be configured for Wake on LAN.

SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise Solution - Management Station Requirements
   
  Software: Internet Explorer® 6.0.
  Java Runtime Environment (Version 1.4.1 and 1.2.2) is required in order to use the Xpoint View and/or Xpoint Chat features.
   
  Windows Networking: Configured for TCP/IP.
