  1. 1. What is SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise?
    Enables high reliability and fully redundant backup and recovery for desktop and mobile client systems, by allowing the IT Administrator to perform network-based backup and recovery operations from a central management device.   2. Will this affect my computer network?
    No. There are no modifications needed to your network or server.

  3. What kinds of computers are compatible?
    Only Windows based computers are compatible. See Minimum System Requirements.


  4. How many computers can the SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise manage?
    Enterprise will support up to 255 clients per LAN segment. For every LAN segment, one Enterprise is recommended.


  5. Can I Remotely Manage Clients?
    The IT Administrator can remotely access the backup, recovery and management functionality of the Enterprise through a secure, HTML support console.

  6. Where are the backups stored?
    SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise will store backups on a hard drive or multiple hard drives on the same computer it is installed on, or designated storage vaults.


  7. What if I run out of backup storage?
    SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise allows the addition of hard drive storage. From an Append Storage panel, the IT Administrator can add additional drive capacity as needed.


  8. Are common files backed up more than once?
    Important storage and bandwidth optimization technology is included. For all common files, SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise will only back them up once. Saving storage and network bandwidth.


  9. Is compression applied to the stored backups?
    Yes, the compression ratio is 2-1.


  10. What is Auto Discovery?
    At scheduled intervals, SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise will search the local area network (LAN) segment via TCPIP-for all computer systems. As a result all of the computers will be discovered and reported by machine name.

  11. Does SecureMode Rapid Restore Enterprise monitor the computers for any alerts?
    Yes. Computers are monitored for S.M.A.R.T. Alerts and Disk Full alerts. If this condition is reached, a notification will be displayed providing notice to the IT Administrator.

  12. Is there an easy way to determine the status of computers?
    The IT Administrator will be able to visually determine the status of the computers with color icons assigned to each computer.
